I can't record my malstrom graintable synthesizer device to track...what should i do. i'm taking my first steps with reason, and i can't get by the first tutorial

...i don't have a keyboard yet, but i heard that i don't need one to use reason. anyway how should i set it? thanks!

i've tried everything that went through my head...i still can't record my malstrom graintable synthesizer to track nore my sub tractor analog synthesizer...please help me. is it because i don't have a keyboard or because i didn't set up something correctly? sorry 4 the stress!!!

You will still need a keyboard to play the malstrom. To record sounds and to play sounds you will need a MIDI Keyboard to play the malstrom.

You can still draw in the notes for the maelstrom/thor/subtractor under the edit mode option in the sequencer window. Its an alternative way of recording those synths, without having the keyboard. You simply just click the synths track ie.maelstrom, and then click the edit mdoe button which is located near the upper left of the sequncer, It'll be 3 little red,blue yellow bars like a square. From there you'll get an onscreen keyboard going vertically that you can draw in notes with the pencil tool.
